From a very young age, I’ve always had a passion for creating. As a kid, I used to sit at my designated art table for hours each day drawing, painting, and working on all kinds of projects. Originally from Madison, Mississippi, I made what was at the time a terrifying but exciting decision to move to Athens to attend the University of Georgia and study art, and I graduated with my BFA in May 2018.

Following graduation, I worked at a local, family owned framing business where I managed an in-house photo center that specialized in photo printing, editing, and digital photo restoration. In December 2018, I transitioned into my current role as the Development Associate at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at UGA. During that time, I also worked to pursue a second degree in Advertising, which I recently completed in May 2021.

At the epicenter of my experience are two key characteristics: building meaningful relationships with donors or clients, and working creatively to produce visually compelling direct marketing materials. I have always been interested in finding a way to combine my love of art and design with with marketing. For me, implementing a strategy based on goals and metrics and watching it come to fruition is the most satisfying part of everything that I do.

I am excited for the opportunity to continue to grow as I take on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
